I recently purchased hybrid bikes for me, my wife, and children. Since we aren't yet experienced bikers and since our new bikes are built to be riden on streets and paved trails, I am excited about the Town Branch trail announcement. I haven't had much luck finding suitable paved bike paths in the central ky area and last weekend we traveled to southwestern Ohio just to ride the Little Miami trail. While riding along the beautifully maintained 80 mile paved trail (Xenia to Cinn) built on an old train rail line, I couldn''t help but be envious of the many small towns and neighborhoods we passed along the way. I also wondered why our community hasn't done something similar so this news is very encouraging.
