Crittenden Rawlings has held some of the top jobs in menswear during his 52-year career, including being president of Ralph Lauren Tailored Clothing and president and CEO of Oxxford Clothes, which dresses U.S. presidents and corporate titans. When he retired from Oxxford, the Marion County native moved to Midway, opened a tiny shop and lives above the store. But Rawlings’ retirement business is anything but small: the elegantly unstructured line of clothes he designs is sold to local customers, including UK Coach John Calipari, and in 150 of the nation’s best men’s stores.Photo by Tom Eblen | teblen@herald-leader.com
