The Headley-Whitney Museum is putting George Headley’s home, La Belle, up for sale to raise money and refocus on its mission as a decorative and fine arts museum. Headley died in 1985. In recent years, La Belle has been rented for weddings, receptions and other functions. The home will be sold with 8.42 acres and several outbuildings adjacent to the museum.
